Your Hosts: The Mohl FamilyLorrie and Jason Mohl have operated Clayoquot Vista Guesthouse since 2002. They believe that Clayoquot Vista presents quality facilities and service in a comfortable environment at comparable rates for family and corporate groups as well as couples. “We wanted to offer guests the type of accommodations we would be comfortable staying in when we travel” says Lorrie, a former resort manager. “Clean and comfortable rooms and friendly service are a top priority”. Jay has operated Clayoquot Ventures, a charter fishing operations, in Tofino since 1996 and was well aware of the lack of accommodations within the community for fishing clients. “When we had the opportunity to build a new home I thought we could include some nice comfortable suites for clients and then with one easy phone call they could confirm their fishing and accommodations for Tofino.” Jay and Lorrie have two children, Ben and Jenna, and when not welcoming guests from around the world they enjoy camping, traveling, fishing, hockey and spending time with friends and family. |
